Week One: Getting into the groove...

  2. This is a great idea - so glad you thought of it and that you are accommodating the gal who continues to resist Facebook! :)
    Have two runs in for the week as well, number three is tonight and then looking forward to a nice long run on Saturday am.

  3. My first 3 miler was the best, an outdoor run. I felt great and enjoyed the nice weather. Run 2 and 3 were on the Treadmill. I need to find a way to enjoy it. Any tips? I had my MP3 player and tried to be distracted by peope watching, but it sure is a great effort to not stare at the slow blinking lights that go around per 1/4 mile lap...12 laps later finally done!

  4. Yes, the first two runs of the week were great - outside - yeh! Last night's run was the dreaded treadmill run. Thank goodness it was only 3 miles. My tips include: covering up the display (with a towel or tee) - don't look at the screen for your time or distance, it makes it go by slower. I watch the tv if at all possible, even if I can't hear it or am listening to music. Hopefully there will not be too much more treadmill time.
